How the Free Trial Works:

  1. Sign Up for a Free Trial Here.
  2. Get a Tech Support Call
    • Our friendly tech support department will reach out to you for a 5-10 minute phone call to ensure that all of your technical equipment is working, software is installed properly, and your internet speeds are sufficient to have the best learning experience possible.
      During this call you will be asked to verify things such as connection speed
  3. Take Free Trial Session
    • Try us out at no risk! We want you to be 100% comfortable while learning from us and have confidence that you are receiving the highest quality educational experience possible. If you aren't convinced that we are the best Spanish solution available today, we'll even give you some alternatives.
  4. Select Package
    • To learn more about the programs we offer, visit the “Our Curriculum” page. Select the package that best fits you. Here are a few things to consider as you explore what we offer:
      1. Appropriate Age
        • Please indicate whether the student (you or your child) is in preschool, elementary, middle school, high school, or an adult.
      2. Length of Package
        • How long would you like your package to last? A half semester consists of 7 weeks whereas a full semester consists of 15 weeks. Please note that the price per session drops the longer the package is extended.
      3. Number of Classes per Week
        • How many classes would you like to receive per week? We have found that students realize considerably faster progress the more classes they receive. As a result, although students can still learn a great deal with one class per week, we recommend students to take 2 classes per week. Additionally, please note that the price per session decreases the more classes taken per week.
  5. Schedule for your first official class
    • Please create an account here to schedule a free trial.
    • Follow the directions to schedule your free trial at a time that fits your schedule.
 

How the Lessons Work:

  1. Ensure your computer, internet, microphone, and headset are configured correctly
    • If you need additional support at any time please feel free to call 713-280-HOLA(4652)
  2. Log on at your Designated Time
    • Be ready to accept your instructor's Skype call at least 5 minutes before your scheduled class.
  3. Enjoy your lesson!
    • We want you to have the best Spanish learning experience possible. If you have any additional comments or questions, please feel free to send them to info@HomeschoolSpanishAcademy.com

How Homework Works:

  1. Receive homework along with a lesson in same document
    • The first part of PDF document that students receive for class is the lesson, which will be covered during class time with the instructor. The second part of the document is the homework and is labeled as such. Homework needs to be completed before the next class.
  2. Complete homework after class on provided text (.rtf) document answer sheet
    • In addition to the PDF lesson/homework document, students receive a text (.rtf) document where they can place their answers. This .rtf document should then be sent to the address listed in the next step.
  3. Email the completed homework .rtf file to homework@HomeschoolSpanishAcademy.com
  4. Receive and review corrected homework.
    • Your instructor will receive, review and correct your homework. Additionally, most homework assignments will be reviewed at the beginning of class.

How Invoices and Payments Work:

Invoices and Payments are handled using Paypal.com.
Please determine:

  1. What is the correct correct age option for me or my child(ren)?
  2. How long do I (or my student(s)) need to learn Spanish?
    • Should it be a half semester or a full semester?
    • A half semester is defined as 7 weeks
    • A full semester is defined as 15 weeks
  3. How many classes per week should I take?
    • We believe that the more classes one takes the faster the language acquisition occurs.
    • For students in the Early Language, Middle School, or High School programs, we offer 1 or 2 classes per week.
    • Adults can schedule however many lessons per week.

Once you have made a decision on those three factors, please notify H.S.A. via email at info@HomeschoolSpanishAcademy.com about your decision.

You will then receive an invoice within 24 hours via your inbox which you may pay via your Paypal account or credit card.
